Summary Statement

The Summary Statement summarizes the Initial Review Group (IRG) review, discussion, and evaluation of each grant application and provides the reasons for the IRG's recommendation. It serves as the official record of the IRG's review. Each Summary Statement indicates a score for the application or notes that the IRG did not find enough technical merit in the application to give it a score ("unscored"). A copy of the Summary Statement is provided to each applicant.
