The annual information return that all private foundations must submit to the IRS each year and which is also filed with appropriate State officials. The form requires information on the foundation's assets, income, operating expenses, contributions and grants, paid staff and salaries, program funding areas, grantmaking guidelines and restrictions, and grant application procedures.
